MiniStats is a really simple and straightforward app that lets you check the status of your iPhone from your Apple Watch. It puts data about your iPhone in a glance on the Apple Watch, such that it is easily viewable on your wrist instead of reaching out to pick up your iPhone and waking it up from sleep.
On the iPhone, MiniStats simply displays four important sections — your iPhone’s battery status, your Wi-Fi network’s name and upload/download speed, your mobile network’s name, type and upload/download speeds and the storage space utilized and left on your iPhone. All this is nifty information, but I do wish it also displayed the current signal strength for the networks. On the Apple Watch, MiniStatus puts all that information in a glance. This way, you can quickly and easily monitor what your current network usage is and if any app is downloading some data, it is downloading that at what speeds.
That’s all really there is to MiniStats. It’s designed to put information about your iPhone onto your wrist. MiniStats is available for $0.99 on the App Store.
