Along with the release of Ulysses 2.0 for Mac, The Soulmen also today released Ulysses for iPad. It is a brand new app that is just as powerful and feature-rich as its Mac counterpart and is a perfect companion app when you’re on the go. The Soulmen have had an iPad app called Daedalus Touch on the App Store, but it has largely stayed ignored since the release of Ulysses III. Ulysses III has been my favorite writing app on the Mac for a long time now. Ulysses was released on the the App Store back in 2013 and since then, I have done majority of my writing in it. The company had released a refreshed app for Android a few months ago and has been made available for iPhone on the App Store today. Although we’ve only managed to play with it for a few minutes, it does manage to leave us very impressed. The app supports not just Google accounts, but also works with your iCloud, Yahoo, Exchange or other CalDAV accounts that you have already configured on your iPhone (including my favorite, FastMail). Each account is assigned a specific color and the ‘New Event’ compose…

Breaking is a new app loving built by the guys at Robocat, the brilliant designers and developers behind several notable iOS apps, most of which have been featured here on Beautiful Pixels. Available for iOS as well as Mac, Breaking allows you to follow the news from your favorite online sources via a Today Widget that you can add to your Notification Center tray.
