Definition is your Own Sexy Pocket Dictionary

In my opinion, Command+Ctrl+D is still one of the most nifty shortcuts in Mac OS X, more so when you’re not a native English speaker. I was happy to see the same being introduced systemwide in iOS 5. But availability of iOS 5 is still a few months away and we’ve only seen Beta 1 land into the hands of developers (and countless other “enthusiasts”).

We recently got an email introducing us to Definition, a sexy dictionary app for your iPhone and iPad. The app features a gorgeous skeuomorphic UI and looking up words is quick and easy.

The UI gives you quick access to synonyms, antonyms and examples of the word you’ve just searched for & even helps you with the pronunciations with a playable audio of the word. Of course, there are options to share the definition on some major social networking websites as well.

Definition is a universal app and sells for $2.99 on the App Store.
