It’s also nice when that slate has beautiful looking things, rather than, well, Linux.
Edovia’s TouchPad for the iPad on first look seems like a scaled up version of the iPhone version. In fact, that’s pretty much what it is. The trackpad is much larger, the buttons are much larger, and the keyboard is much bigger. And you know what? It doesn’t feel wrong at all. Add to that the buttons are all so carefully polished with lepricon tears, I sometimes just launch the app just to look at it even though I have no reason to control it. All thanks to the works of graphics artist Jake Desaulniers (@desaulniers).
TouchPad costs $3.99, and is a universal app, so the same purchase is good for your iPhone as well. We’ll have a review up on SA sometime soon.
[tweetmeme]Being our sponsor, @Edovia has offered us a bunch of codes, 5 to be precise, to give away to those lucky few who come out ahead of the rest. Ready? Leave a comment as to what would your number one use for this app be, and/or you can send out a tweet with a link back to this article. Winners chosen randomly; standard giveaway rules apply.
Even though Edovia is one of our sponsors, this article was not paid for.
