In spite of many options out in the market, Google Analytics continues to be a solid, free and extensive solution for tracking your website’s traffic. There are many different ways you can access your Google Analytics data without visiting their clumsy website, including beautiful iPhone apps like Analytiks and Audience and Dashboard Widgets like GAget and Analytics. Analytics Tiles is another beautiful app to access your Google Analytics stats, but this one comes coated with the Metro flavor that Windows Phone devices are synonymous with.
Analytics Tiles, as the name suggests, display your Google Analytics stats in a beautiful, tiled, Metro-like UI. Each tile in the app shows you one type of data, so you have a quick glance at the stats in one go. The app has the ability to show you only 20 tiles at a time, but you can choose which ones you want to show up. You can move the tiles around by tapping and holding on one, so you can have your favorite one right at the top if you want. A single tap on each tile displays it fullscreen, so every tile comes with its own set of detailed data. Double tap on a tile and it’ll span the full row, so you can have important reports (like the ones with graphs) to span a wider view. The app supports multiple websites from your account, so you can swipe left or right to jump between them. You can assign different colors to the websites by pulling up the screen half-way. If you pull it all the way through, you’ll be take to a screen where you can enable/disable additional tiles. You can jump between stats for Today, Yesterday, Weekly and Monthly stats.
Analytics Tiles comes bundled with a neat UI and little animations that make the experience very pleasing. The tiles shake like icons on the homescreen when the data is being fetched and casually fall into place once they’re ready to display the numbers or graphs. At $1.99 on the App Store, Analytics Tiles is a fantastic option if you use Google Analytics. I really like the minimal icon they’ve got going there.
