Day One Journal Adds End-to-End Encryption Feature
Day One Journal is by far the most popular journaling app for iOS today. The folks at Bloom Built have enriched and polished the app to perfection over the last few years, turning it into a stellar journaling app platform out there.
In version 2.2 of the iOS app released this week, Day One has added End-to-End Encryption as a feature. With this enabled, your journals in the app can be encrypted using a Key that only you know. All data contained in these journals is then encrypted, so not even the employees of Day One can view your data. Considering the sensitive nature of the data that the app typically holds, it’s great to see this feature being rolled out to the app.
Day One Journal is available for $4.99 on the App Store. Here’s a FAQ about this feature.
