I wrote about Doppler a few months ago and it has been a lovely alternative to dealing with Apple’s rubbish music app on iOS. Since then, the app has gotten some really nice updates allowing you to import FLAC, WAV, and more formats through iTunes file sharing. The newest major update brings some much-needed functionality that every music player on iOS should have — you can now import music to the app through Safari and edit the metadata for these files. You can even search and download fresh album artwork for your music.
If you still use Last.fm, support has been added to scrobble as well. This is a great free update to Doppler and with the ability to import music downloaded in Safari, I can’t recommend it enough. Get it for just $2.99 on the App Store →.
