Overcast is one of the most popular podcast apps available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch devices created by the noted developer and podcast celebrity Marco Arment. Marco has released Overcast 4.1 today that ships with two really handy features for its users.
Overcast now has an option to auto-delete podcast episodes (pods?) 24 hours after you’ve done with them. This is a handy option for devices that are running out of storage space, or even if just want to clear out old episodes. Another handy and much-anticipated feature is the new Smart Resume feature that automatically jumps back by up to a few seconds when you resume a paused stream, so you can catch reference of the active conversation. This version also adds support for password-protected podcasts, along with a bunch of bug fixes.
