In our lives, all of us have a list of things we wished we did more often, but somehow never managed to do for whatever reason. It could be things like keeping in touch with our family or friends, budgeting finances, exercising regularly or even something as simple as filling air in a vehicle’s tires every week. Radar is a slick & light iPhone app that helps you perform these tasks and then track them with ease. It sports a minimalistic design with clean typefaces which stands behind its clutter-free & organized layout.
Along with the list of tasks you have added, the main screen in the app also tells you how long you have, until the next occurrence of each task. While adding a new task, you can set how frequently you wish to do it in terms of days, weeks or months. Every time you finish a task, you can make an entry either with a simple swipe on the list item or after getting into the task detail screen. You are also presented with three more stats in the detail screen: how long ago was the task performed last, average frequency, and total number of times the task has been done.
Radar also automatically notifies you when a task is due. However, there aren’t any options to customize the notification alarm time. The app is priced at $1.99 on the App Store, which is definitely a steal for the value it can potentially add to your life by helping you build your habits and do the things you want to do more often. I also love the app’s website, done by the amazing Meagan Fisher.
