Readdle — known for their fantastic document-based apps like PDF Expert, Scanner Pro, Printer Pro, Documents, etc. have been adding some great new features to Spark — their popular email app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch over the last few months. Today, the company is introducing two highly-requested features in the app — Send Later and Follow-Up Reminders.
With the Send Later feature, you can now compose emails and specify when you’d like Spark to send it to the recipient. Similar to how the Snooze function worked, you can pick the exact date and time for when the email should be on its way.
For the longest time, I’ve wished for a feature that would enable me to send emails and automatically snooze them, so that I can check back whether the recipient has responded or not. More often than not, I’ve sent out emails and completely forgotten about them. With Spark’s new Follow-Up Reminders feature, I won’t have to worry about this happening anymore. You can now ask Spark to remind you in case a certain email has not received a reply by the specified time.
These new features are rolling out simultaneously to both Spark for iOS via Version 1.11 and Spark for Mac via Version 1.5 today. Spark continues to be my recommend app of choice and just like Rajat, it still amazes me how Readdle can offer this app for Free.
