Thunderspace

Thunderspace

Thunderspace is a spectacular app that was released a few weeks ago. Thunderspace has been brought to the App Store by Taptanium, the same folks who brought us Haze app, and Gordon Hempton, an Emmy-award winning nature sound recordist. Thunderspace is a wonderful app for your iPhone that uses 3D, stereoscopic audio to create a virtual thunderstorm around you.

To utilize Thunderspace to its full potential, you need to put on your favorite pair of headphones, turn on Thunderspace and relax. The goal of the app is to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and stress-free. Thunderspace starts playing a soothing audio, recorded in stereoscopic 3D, that helps in calming you down and make you thought-free. Much like Haze, Thunderspace too has its own unique visual style to the UI and looks absolutely slick. It uses gestures to let you choose from a variety of sounds. The list includes Roof Garden, Waterscope, Desert, Wetlands, Rainforest, Moonlit, Angels & Wood Frogs. Each of these environments virtually transports you to a surreal atomosphere.

Thunderspace uses the Flash at the back to simulate Lightning, so try it after you have dimmed the lights. The app comes bundled with 2 thunderstorms & the other 6 are available via IAP for 99 cents each. The app is currently available on the App Store for just $0.99.
