Yeti is a super simple iPhone app that helps you capture your ideas quickly and easily. With a single tap, you can capture anything in the form of notes, audio, photos, videos or even sketches and Yeti will save them for you. The simplicity of the app and the simple gestures of launching the app, tapping the desired format and letting your ideas flow is what makes Yeti so good.
Yeti’s main screen presents you with the four formats it supports — Notes, Audio, Photo/Video and Sketches. Yeti also allows you to capture your ideas right from the Notification Center or even using 3D Touch shortcuts on the app icon. Everything you save in the app is backed up to iCloud Drive, so your data is not just backed up and available across your devices, but also available via iCloud Drive on the Mac. Notes are saved as .txt, Sketches are saved as .jpg, Audio is saved as .m4a and and video is saved as .mov.
Via the Settings, you can configure Yeti to launch directly into either of the modes, so you can save on a tap as well as time. Yeti saves your work offline, and pushes it to iCloud when you are connected to the internet.
Yeti is a simple app and does a great job of handling a few simple tasks for you. It is available for $1.99 on the App Store.
