Serif’s Affinity Publisher Available Now in Free Public Beta
Affinity Publisher Free Beta Now Available
Serif has just announced that Affinity Publisher, the company’s new Desktop Publishing app, is now available in a Free public beta. The company had revealed that it was working on a third app, after Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo, via a tweet back in July.
You can download the free beta of Affinity Publisher for both Mac and Windows systems, with the fairly straightforward system requirements available here. The company does note that this is a beta, so you should not use it for any important production work at this time.
It’s great to see Serif working on these incredible alternatives for Adobe’s apps like Illustrator, Photoshop, and now InDesign. I’ve downloaded the beta on my Mac and will be sharing my thoughts here very soon.

Almost every photo on the site is a great fit to be set as Desktop [...]

Telegram Desktop Matures to v1.0

The latter has today reached a milestone with version 1.0.
Today’s release introduces a new design, refined animations and support for custom themes. It is available for Free from the Mac App Store or directly from the Telegram website.

Unclutter 2 for Mac
We first told you about Unclutter app for Mac back in February 2013, albeit briefly, in our second issue of The Platter. Unclutter was designed to keep the clutter off your Desktop by giving you a place to temporarily store your clipboard history, files and notes just above your Menubar and it did a stellar job at it. Since then, the [...]
