Bobby Now Accepts Submissions for Missing Services

Bobby is currently our favorite subscriptions tracking app for iPhone & iPad. It’s a great way to quickly add your recurring expenses for services and get an overview of how much you’re spending on subscriptions. It comes with a long list of predefined services, or you can add your own custom service manually as well.

Now you can submit any missing services to the app for consideration by visiting If you think your favorite service needs to be on Bobby for quick addition, let them know.

Finances for Mac Completes the Bookkeeping Trilogy

We reviewed Finances for iOS here on Beautiful Pixels, and we mentioned that the Mac version of the app was also in the works (in Public Beta at the time) and that it would debut in the coming weeks.

Finances for macOS is now available on the Mac App Store, and it now completes the set. You can manage your finances on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The app retains all the features you’d expect from its iOS counterpart, and remains as polished and slick as ever. If you have the newer MacBook Pros with TouchBar, you can also secure your financial data with TouchID, and most delightfully (at least from a personal point of view), the developer has also included a delicious Dark Mode. The app syncs all data reliably between your devices, using iCloud sync.

If you liked what you read in our iOS review of the app, and need the complete feature set the app offers, we can’t recommend Finances 2 for Mac enough. With this purchase, you will finally have the bookkeeping app suite you need and deserve.

Finances 2 is available on the Mac App Store at an introductory price of $24.99.
