Lumy 2.0 Brings a watchOS 2 App, Apple TV App & Numerous Improvements

Lumy is a beautiful and elegant photographer’s companion app that we’d first written about back in August 2014. The very first version was designed to put everything you needed to know about golden hours (or magic hours) in the next few days, right into the palm of your hands. It sported a lovely UI that made reading the numbers very easy and it managed to quickly impress us with its slick UX. In the very first update that Lumy received,...

Rizon — A Golden Hour Shooting Companion

When it comes to taking photographs, lighting is one of the most important factors to consider. Lighting can make or break a photograph and often, a good photographer goes to great lengths to ensure the scene is well lit or is just the way he wants it. Retro for Instagram on iPad

It is pretty shocking that there’s still no Instagram app for iPad. Not only do iPads have decent cameras on them now, but they are also great to edit photos with, and view media in general. Sure, you can use the iPhone app in 2x mode, but that really isn’t a good experience. I’ve been using Retro for Instagram on iPad for a long time now and it just hit 2.0, which is a great update.
