Zander Martineau, a freelance Web Designer and Developer from London, has put up some rather splendid icons up on his blogsite. These icons, however, have been created entirely using just CSS, using some of the newer features of CSS3 such as gradients and rotation. Since these are built upon completely open standards, you can view the source and study how they were created; a great learning experience. If that’s not the way you like to learn things, Zander has also chalked up an explanation for each icon and how he created them.
