Less than six months after we first wrote about Analytiks, a Google Analytics client for iPhone that shows you a beautiful summary of your stats, it has already come out with a substantial new update that warrants a mention here on the site.
The app has been updated with a very minimal & spiffier UI. Gone is the metallic, grunge effect and in comes a much cleaner and simple background. The numbers are big, bright and feature a beautiful font. The colors used all compliment each other, so you’re definitely in for a treat. You can also now choose between a dark and light theme to display your stats, though I personally think the light one looks way better than the dark one.
The update gets rid of the motivational messages on top and replaces them with a graph for pageviews over the last month. Performance of the app has been vastly improved and it feels considerably quicker at launch. These two updates by themselves make the app much more useful for me. The main screen now displays a beautiful summary of stats I’m interested in so you can launch the app, take a quick glance at your stats and get out.
Analytiks costs just $0.99 on the App Store, but is a Free update for existing customers. If you haven’t already, now would be a good time to give it a try.
