Weekend Read
Weekend Read is a new iPhone app from Quote-Unquote Apps, makers of the OS X screenplay utility — Highland. In line with Highland, John August and his team have designed Weekend Read to be a handy app that lets you read screenplay PDFs easily on your iPhone. It lets you load your PDFs in the app, which it them parses and presents a neatly formatted flow of text, optimized with great typography. The app lets you customize the font & font-size to your liking and also includes a dark mode. Although it can also read Markdown files, Weekend Read is designed with screenplays in mind, so it includes special features such as character highlighting — letting you highlight all the dialogues for a single character. You can load your files from a direct URL or via Dropbox.
