When you think about online communities for designers, dribbble always springs to mind. There is some amazing work being showcased on that site but it covers design as a broad category. Even though there are many UI designers showcasing their work on dribbble, this aspect of design needs its own community. This is where meer.li comes in. Meer.li is a community for mobile designers to showcase their brilliant work.
Meer.li lets designers show off their work and lets other people see how the mobile app design industry is developing. We’ve seen some spectacular work in the last few years on the mobile front and now we have an online community dedicated solely to the same cause. Meer.li works brilliantly on mobile devices as well, as would be expected from such a site. Every design has a nice detail page where it is shown in a white iPhone 4S with a description and the typical share buttons.
If you’re a mobile designer you need to get onto meer.li ASAP. The site is currently in beta and there are a few spots left in the current batch.
