Playing is a dead simple music sharing app that detects what you’re listening to on your iPhone and presents it beautifully on your screen. Your music artwork is front & center with the background a lovely blurred version of the same artwork. Playing allows you to share a screenshot to Instagram and post what you’re listening to onto Twitter, Facebook and even App.net through Riposte. Playing is available Free on the App Store and you should definitely try it out.
Guitar Pro
Guitar Pro, one of the most widely used guitar tab apps, got a lovely iOS 7 style look in its latest update. The app has always worked really well, and with its new elegant look, the visuals are as good as the functionality. The icon has been redesigned as well and the whole app has a red highlight theme across the lighter backgrounds. Guitar Pro is available as a Universal app on the App Store for $7.99.
Clipcam
Clipcam is a video camera app for your iPhone. Clipcam’s core feature lets you shoot multiple video clips in a square format and then it stitches them together into a single video. You can move your clips around or duplicate/delete them if you want. Unlike Instagram or Vine, however, there’s no social network attached to Clipcam. You can generate your clips and share it wherever you want to. It is dead simple to use and shipped with an iOS 7 design. Clipcam is available Free on the App Store and comes with a $0.99 IAP to unlock filters.
Calcolor
Did you recently buy an iPhone 5c or iPhone 5s? Here’s a superb app for you. Calcolor is a simple calculator app specifically designed with iPhone 5c (or iPhone 5s) users in mind. It mimics the design style and colors of the 5c, so it makes you feel right at home. Quickly select your iPhone color and then the color of your case (if you have one) and you have a custom designed calculator that matches your phone’s body. Of course, it’s an iOS app and will work on other iPhone models as well. You can grab it from the App Store for just $0.99.
nocknock
nocknock is a fun new app for iPhone to quickly chat with people around you. It uses your phone’s Wi-fi or Bluetooth to initiate one-to-one connections and then uses them to communicate between the phones. Of course, this means the other person needs to have nocknock installed on his/her phone too. But the benefits of this are that there’s absolutely no signup involved, nothing is sent or received via any servers. It has a lovely UI and offers a fun way to chat with random people. nocknock is available Free on the App Store.
