It’s almost as if I’m writing the same story twice. Hours after the much talked about Flipboard showed up, Teehan+lax offer us a glimpse of their ‘twitter magazine’, TweetMag. It’s not yet complete, but from what I can see it is definitely something worth getting excited about. Where Flipboard is a little abstract, TweetMag seems to be more straightforward about what it does.
Geoff Teehan:
It works by finding links in a twitter user, list or search – then grabs their headlines, abstracts and media to create a TweetMag. Articles then become prioritized by what’s being tweeted about most.
And looking at that screenshot below I can’t help but notice the gorgeous pixels they’ve painted this app with. Can’t wait to get my fingers dirty with this one. Coincidentally, I prepared the screenshot using the iPad GUI wireframe provided by Teehan+lax.
