Followio is a lovingly and beautifully crafted iPhone app to track your followers across various websites. Designed by Denis Rojčyk and developed by Martin Pilch, Followio is a great way to take a quick glimpse at your follower count and see a graph of how the count has changed over the last few days.
The app is really simple to use and supports accounts from the following social networks and websites:
- YouTube
- Dribbble
- Google+
- Vimeo
- Soundcloud
It displays a graph for each of your accounts, along with the current count. The main screen displays the graph for the last 7 days, but you can tap on an account and view the changes over a 30-day period. There’s also a handy Today Widget that puts your follower count in the Notification Center. To make it easy to log into your accounts, it also integrates with 1Password.
Unfortunately, in spite of the good looking pixels that Followio sports, it is limited in functionality, largely due to the limitations in place on iOS. For the app to track and update your count, it has to be launched at least once a day. If you skip a day or forget to launch it, the count is not updated at all until the next time you launch the app.
Followio is still a delight to look at and is worth checking out. We’ve written about Static and Statnut in the past, but both these apps are no longer available on the App Store.
Followio is available Free on the App Store and supports up to 3 unique accounts 1 account from each service. To add more than 3 accounts or multiple accounts from the same service, there’s a $1.99 IAP for you.
Update 24/01/2017: It turns out that in a recent update to the app, the developers removed the 3 unique account limit on the Free app. Instead, the Free app now lets you add 1 account from each of the services supported in the app. Additionally, the developers also mention that they’re testing a new update to the app that will no longer require you to launch it at least once a day.
