Flexibits today released Fantastical 2.8, a big update to the popular calendar app for iPhone and iPad. This release, which now requires iOS 10, introduces full support for rich notifications, allowing you to quickly glance into event notifications and reminders in much more detail. This is great when you have addresses set in your events, as you can pull down on the notification and get a map preview of the location without the need to open the app. Fantastical 2.8 also ships with a sticker pack of cute animated calendar icons, some of which include callout messages while others are…

LookUp has long been our favorite dictionary app for iPhone. We first wrote about it back in 2014 and since then, it has continued to evolve into a mature dictionary app with an exceptionally crafted UI as well as a fantastic feature set. The release of LookUp 3.0 back in September brought along a lovely visual refresh of the main screen along with an iMessage app. Today, LookUp 3.2 is out on the App Store and here’s what’s new in it. iPad App Today’s big update brings LookUp to your iPad. Magnet supports keyboard shortcuts as well, for every command it has…

When asked, we were told that there were some technical difficulties, and that they’d look into our account. However, we’ve not heard back from them in 10 days. As a result, we do not recommend Tiny Stats to our readers. Update: Tiny Stats have reduced the pricing by over 75%. Take a look…
Currency — Simple Converter Currency is the absolutely gorgeous currency converter for iPhone that we wrote about back in 2013. Four years later and almost 3 years since its last update, the app has finally been updated to support iOS 10 as well as the larger screens on iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 7. This release also includes updated design assets and UI tweaks, refreshed animations, support for 4 decimal places, Taptic feedback, keyboard sounds and more. Currency is one of my favorite currency conversion apps for iPhone and I’m glad to see it rise again. This is…
