Qbserve is the wonderfully brilliant time tracking app for Mac that we wrote about back in May. Qbserve is a private time-tracking app for Mac, that automatically studies what you’re spending your time on and shows you pretty charts about how productive you’ve been, or haven’t. The app makes wonderful use of colors and works great. It’s private, so your data stays on your Mac and there’s no cloud service to sync or subscribe to. My biggest quibble about the app was its lack of custom rules. Thankfully, the devs released version 1.59 a couple of days ago that introduces…

Daybook is a really simple web app to keep track of important goals that matter to you. It is built by Brian Lovin and inspired by this tweet by Josh Puckett. The idea is simple — just add a list of things or goals that you want to keep a track of. Then every time you hit the goal or finish that activity, increase the count. Rinse and repeat. You can add notes to each activity by simply clicking on it. I love how you can also add emojis to each item so as to visually differentiate them. A recent…

Weather Line is one our favorite weather apps to have come out in recent times. The app debuted towards the end of 2013 and one of its striking features was the simplicity by which it presented the weather data. You could take a quick look at the screen and easily get to know what your day or week looks like. Weather Line got off to a great start back then, but unfortunately, it was only updated once in 2015 and the lack of any update in 2016 meant it lacked some of the new features that iOS 10 brought along.…

Ever since Google launched the Google Calendar app for iOS back in 2015, the company has continued to steadily add some great new features and improvements to the app. The illustrations in the app for various types of events look splendid and my favorite feature of the app has been its ability to intelligently reschedule your goals, wherein the app automatically finds the best time for your goals based on your schedule for the day. Today, Google has released v1.6.7 on the App Store that introduces a fantastic new feature in the app — Apple Health integration. Now when you…

The last time we spoke about iStat was back in 2012 when Bjango had just shipped iStat 2, a major update to the remote server monitoring and stats app. It was a fantastic update that introduced a plethora of new features to the app and the fresh coat of paint it had received looked stunning on your screens. I wrote: It’s evident that a ridiculous amount of work has gone into the making of this release by spending just a few minutes with it. Every UI element is polished to perfection in the app. The attention to detail in elements…
